The mysterious woman said her father faked his own death to escape the limelight and live as a stay-at-home dad.

My Opinion
Andy Kaufman alive? The fact that his brother confirmed the allegations and his friends believe that he is alive almost confirms this theory.
Even if he didn’t die in 1984, I think he might have died later. Because Andy also told his friends about his comeback. If he had lived, he should have returned according to his plans.
Perhaps he got used to living with his new family and did not want to return. We can’t know this. Him not dying in 1984 is a high probability but the chances are slim for now.
There is not enough evidence, but the statements of his family are enough for me. To me, Andy didn’t die in 1984, i give that %70 chance.
