The Ourang Medan Incident |The Ship Where the Entire Crew Was Found Dead

This week, the Louvre Museum in Paris was even forced to close for a day because of its overcrowding problem. (Some union representations for the museum said tourists have stifled renovation work on the Mona Lisa, crowding them into tight, unworkable spaces.)in abundance, allowing developers to save time, re-use code, and streamline the back end. As software development tools continuously change to follow the latest trends, and as new frameworks emerge, we gathered a list of the best PHP frameworks for 2019. For each framework, we will be briefly exploring the essential features, the benefits, the scale and type of projects it fits best, and the learning curve.

The Ship Where the Entire Crew Was Found Dead | The Ourang Medan Incident The Malacca strait, located off Sumatra, Indonesia, has a bad history. It has been home to many bad events, from mysterious bodies appearing on nearby beaches, and lost treasures to mysterious disappearances. But it had not hosted such a disastrous and mysterious event until 1947.

While the calendar showed the year 1947, the ship that was cruising around the Strait of Malacca name SS Ourang Medan, a Dutch-flagged ship that was sailing on the Strait of Malacca, off Sumatra, Indonesia, started to receive SOS signals. The message, which was in two parts, was created with Morse code.

The first part of the incoming message had been deciphered, the content of the message contained creepy information about the latest status of the ship. The message was: ‘The entire crew, including the captain, they’re all dead. They are sleeping in the captain’s pavilion and on the deck. Probably everyone on the ship died… me… I’m dying.’

The rest of the message was in an indecipherable state; it consisted of meaningless dots and dashes.

The American-flagged ship that decoded the message “Silver Star”  first tried to determine the coordinates of the ship by playing the message to the British and Dutch crews on their ships.

When it was clear that the ship was SS Ourang Medan, Silver Star’s captain immediately turned his course towards the ship. From the outside, there were no signs of life on the ship, it almost resembled a ghost ship. The captain of the Silver Star went out to the SS Ourang Medan with his crew to rescue those on board. But there were no lives on board that could be saved. Because there was not a single living creature left on the ship. The incoming message was correct. They were shocked by the sight they saw. Because the bodies found on board were very scary. With expressions of terror on their faces, fearful eyes, and arms stretched forward as if seeking protection from someone, they were like a statue. Everyone on board had lost their lives in pain and fear. Their eyes and mouths were wide open with fear. Even the ship’s terrier dog was locked up in fear. Just like in none of the bodies of Dyatlov Pass, there did not appear to be any signs of beatings or illness, as in his case. The Silver Star’s search team found the body of the ship’s captain in the captain’s pavilion. The crew that sent the SOS signal was found in the signal room. After sending the message to Silver Star, he died while his one hand was still on the equipment.

The rescue team decided to tow the SS Ourang Medan to the port to find out why the deaths on board were caused, and they tied the ship to the Silver Star and began towing. At this very moment, smoke was beginning to rise from cargo hold number 14 under the deck of the Ourang Medan. Seeing this, the crew had to hastily cut the tow ropes and release the ship so that they would not be harmed themselves. Just a few seconds later, there was an explosion in Ourang Medan, which tore the ship’s hull into many pieces and sent it deep into the Indian Ocean. These events were announced to the United States by the Coast Guard in 1952 and came to light. With the advent of the incident, conspiracy theories began to come one after another.  Many theories are still being put forward for the event, which has not been solved since that day.

According to one theory, the Ourang Medan ship was part of a secret experiment. Allegedly, during the China-Japanese War and World War II. Japanese scientists are known as 731. Unit Had a connection with the SS Ourang Medan. This unit was allegedly linked to the Ourang Medan and hijacked this ship.

According to some, the ship could have been attacked by supernatural or paranormal forces. It was even claimed that aliens killed the ship’s crew through hypnosis.

Finally, there are also claims that Ourang Medan has a connection with the famous missing Malaysian airliner.

As you know, Malaysia Airlines flight 370 disappeared in 2014 with 227 passengers and an 8-person crew. The plane took off from Kuala Lumpur and was on its way to Beijing. The search efforts continued for a long time, and although it was claimed that the parts belonging to the plane were found, there was no conclusion in this case. Exactly the spot where Malaysia Airlines flight 370 was located in 2014 and the spot where the ship made the SOS signal years ago were in the same area.

Let alone these theories, interesting points such as the fact that the inside of the ship had icy at an air temperature of 43 degrees have still not been explained by experts.
